PURPOSE:To improve the starting performance by judging the lapse of a prescribed time after the operation of a starter and restarting the electric conduction to an intake heating means when the judgement is 'YES'. CONSTITUTION:When an engine 1 is started, a key switch 7 is connected with a power source terminal DT, and a heater switch 11 is turned ON, and a heater 5 is allowed to conduct for the time set according to the output of a water temperature sensor 16, and intake is heated. After the lapse of the wet time, a starter relay 9 is driven by connecting the key switch 7 with a starter terminal ST, and a starter switch 6 is turned ON, and a starter 2 is brought into electric conduction, and cranking is carried out, and the engine 1 is started. Though, the heater switch 11 is turned OFF, accompanied with the operation of the starter 2, and the heating of intake is suspended, the heater switch 11 is turned ON again after the lapse of a prescribed time after the operation of the starter 2, and heating of intake is restarted. |
