PURPOSE:To control the temp. of any foodstuff at the optimum cooking temp. by a method wherein one end of a heat pipe is so formed to projected in a straight line or in the same level as the surface of a gridiron from the gap of the gridiron so that the end of the pipe can be in contact with the foodstuff put on at the upper part and to the other end of the pipe the detecting part of a temp. controller is attached to control the power conduction heaters. CONSTITUTION:One end of a heat pipe 6 is bent in R shape from its front part toward the rear part and the pipe is rotatably supported by a support part 7 so that the end part of the pipe is arranged to project in a straight line or in the same level as the surface of a gridiron from the surface of the gridiron 3 located in the middle part of the gridiron 3 and is energized upward elastically by a spring and to the other end of the pipe the detecting part 9 of a temp. controller 8 is attached to control the power conduction the upper and lower heaters 4, 5 so that the detected temp. becomes a set temp. with the controller 8. As a door 2 is closed, the gridiron 3 slides backward and a foodstuff 10 comes in contact with the R bent part of the pipe 6 installed at the center part and projecting from the gap of the gridiron and then slides on the pope 6 along the R and the pipe 6 is brought in the condition that it is pressed under the center part of the lower surface of the foodstuff 10 and the pipe 6 catches securely the temp. of the center part of the foodstuff 10 and can transfer efficiently its heat to the detecting part.
