The evaluation point obtained by comparing these moving aver age values with plural threshold values epsilony1, epsilony2, epsilony3 of the moving average of the N2 gas concn. to the time and plural threshold values epsilonx1, epsilonx2, epsilonx3 of the moving average of the solution loss carbon quantity is used to the prediction of the furnace temp. based on the integrated evaluation and the lowerings of the furnace temp. and the molten iron temp. in the blast furnace can be rapidly and accurately predicted.
