PURPOSE:To omit a cleaning stage and also to improve the efficiency of utilizing a toner by adding an electrostatic charge to a transfer material from a sensitive body and adding the toner to the transfer material. CONSTITUTION:By rotating the sensitive body 101 and radiating a light beam with an image exposure device 102, an image changing electric resistance according to an original picture is formed. Next, the transfer material 103 whose one side tightly contacts the sensitive body 101 is carried and the electrostatic charge is added to another side of the transfer material 103 with a corona charged unit 104. The electrostatic charge is added according to the image changing electric resistance of a sensitive layer and an electrostatic image according to the image changing electric resistance is formed on the transfer material 103. Thereafter, the toner is added to the transfer material 103 with a developing unit 105 to form the toner image and an electrostatic latent image is revealed. Since the toner is not added to the sensitive body 101 in this constitution, the cleaning stage can be omitted. And also the transfer stage of the toner image can be omitted, so that the efficiency of utilization of the toner can be improved.
