PURPOSE:To improve the gradation and the shelf stability of the titled material by providing with a layer contg. a specified dyestuff and a layer contg. a hydrazine derivative in the titled material. CONSTITUTION:The titled material is composed of one or more layers of silver halide emulsion layers and a hydrophilic colloidal layer, and a layer which does not contain said dyestuff is provided between said emulsion layer and the hydrophilic colloidal layer. And, the hydrazine derivative (for example, a compd. shown by formula III) is incorporated in the colloidal layer of the titled material such as the photosensitive emulsion layer. In the formula, PWR is a group capable of releasing a group (Time)t-LA by reduction. Time is a group capable of releasing a group LA, LA is a group having the absorption max. of a light of 310nm, (t) is 0 or 1. And, the dyestuff shown by formula I (such as a compd. shown by formula II) is incorporated in a surface protective layer or a halation resistant layer. |
