STOPPER FOR BOTTLES, FLASKS AND THE LIKE

The bottle stopper has a cork body (6) into which is pressed or moulded a plastics plug (9). The plug has a collar (10) at the inner end to prevent internal pressure from forcing it out. The plug is tapped (11) from the outside with an equivalent female thread to that of a corkscrew, to facilitate removal of the cork.
