PURPOSE:To accurately detect the position on each nerve path, by detecting the reaction of each peripheral nerve group induced by a given stimulus by he probe inserted in the cranium during operation and calculating the correlation between the detected value and the signal on each stimulus side. CONSTITUTION:The output signals of M-series generators 1-4 are respectively independently selected and, by observing the molded wave form of the stimulus of each M-series in each sensory receptor on a display part 21 on the basis of the selected signal, it is discriminated which nerves the signal is emitted from. That is, since the stimulus of a channel wherein the peak of a correlation function is sufficiently high is specifically transmitted, the specifically transmitted stimulus is detected by the nerve fiber searching probe 18 approaching a nerve fiber. Especially, when a correlation value is sufficiently high and the amplitude of induced potential is sufficiently large, alarm sound is emitted from an alarm 22. Further, the latency of the induced potential is measured from the peak position of the correlation function at that time to display which position of the path from the periphery to the center an electrode 24 is approaching on an image using a marker to display the approach degree to each nerve. |
