PURPOSE:To keep the excellent close adhesiveness to a seam and to prevent a coating defect such as a crack or release, by setting the org. resin coating formed to the seam of a welded can to a specific film thickness and constituting the same of a coating containing a specific corrosion barrier thermosetting resin and mounting a neck-in processing part to the welded can. CONSTITUTION:A welded can is formed by the seam welding of a metal material and has a seam coated with an org. resin. The org. resin coating applied to the seam has a film thickness of 10-100 mum and its temp. dependency of Young modulus defined by a formula RE=E20/E50 is within a range of 1.3-3.0 and said coating is composed of a thermosetting resin having a corrosion barrier property of E20>=50 kg/mm<2>. The welded can is equipped with at least one step of a neck-in processing part. In the formula, E20 shows the Young modulus (kg/mm<2>) of the coating at 20 deg.C and E50 shows the Young modulus (kg/mm<2>) of the coating at 50 deg.C. By providing this coating to the welded seam, the neck-in processing of the seam coated welded can becomes possible without generating a coating defect and lowering the close adhesiveness of the coating.
