<p>The invention concerns a protective cover (5) for a fibre-optic light guide for medical use, in which the light radiated from a light source is transmitted by placing the fibre-optic light guide (7) in contact with the patient's body. The protective cover (5) is designed so that it surrounds the free tip (8) of the fibre-optic light guide (7) completely and interchangeably in the region from which the light emerges, at least to the extent that contact with the object being treated, preferably a patient, is possible, and that at least in the region covering the surface of the fibre-optic light guide (7) from which the light emerges it is made of a transparent material (6).</p> |
