PURPOSE:To reduce a loss of energy by a method wherein a primary air conditioner is automatically controlled by setting each of blowing air temperature and humidity according to the condition of surrounding atmosphere at an inlet side of the air conditioner and referring to its set values. CONSTITUTION:Temperature and humidity at an inlet side of a primary air conditioner 1 are detected by a temperature sensor 9 and a humidity sensor 10, and a primary air conditioner 1 is automatically controlled by a calculation controller 11. In case a temperature and humidity of surrounding atmosphere is within a zone A where an absolute humidity exceeds a target temperature and humidity, for example, after the temperature is cooled down from a point (a1) via a point (a2) down to a point (a3) near a dew point E and the humidity is decreased, a reheating operation is performed down to a lower limit target temperature and humidity point x3. In turn, in case a temperature and humidity of the surrounding atmosphere is within a zone B where it has a target value of an intermediate target temperature and humidity point (x2) determined by an accuracy of a humidifier and its control system and a gradient determined by a humidifier and its supplying vapor pressure, for example, a heating operation is performed from a point (b1) to a point (b2), it is humidified to the intermediate target temperature and humidity point (x2). In this way, it is possible to decrease a loss of energy.
