Lining element (1) for heat treatment furnace comprises lining material (2), wherein fibers are directed mainly parallely to planes (A) which are perpendicular to interior furnace wall. The said lining material is pierced transversally to the said planes by an elongate supporting element (3). The both ends of the supporting element (3) are bent in order to form transversal fastening means (4) for attachment of the element onto the interior wall of the furnace. In the free ends of the fastening means there are provided projections, pins or the like (6) extending transversally to the longitudinal direction of the fastening means (4), in order to make it possible to insert the element into supporting means (11) projecting from the interior furnace wall (10). |
