PURPOSE:To raise the room heating effect and excellent quality in the interior decoration by providing a radiation plate in front of a honeycomb member made of aluminum foil so as to cover the member and forming a highly radiating layer on an open section and the section except the open section of this radiation plate. CONSTITUTION:Radiation heat that includes visible rays and is radiated from a high temperature radiation heater 7 of straight pipe type passes the cell section of a honeycomb member 8 made of aluminum as it is reflected by the wall face of the cell section, and part of the radiation heat radiates heat as it passes through an open section 9a of a radiation reflecting plate 9 and the other part is absorbed by the radiation plate 9 and the absorbed heat is radiated from the radiation plate 9 as the secondary radiation. The radiation plate 9 which has its open section 9a of about 60% is heated to about 2000 deg.C and radiates secondarily infrared rays of relatively long wave lengths over 2 mum. Further, the open section 9a with a rectangular continuous pattern is excellent in design and when the electric stove is energized, the honeycomb member 8 that is made of aluminum and shines in orange color is highlighted through the grid-like open section 9a.
