PURPOSE:To lighten the burden of an operator for generating units by collecting monitor information from a plurality of generating units to a monitor through transmission lines and storing and displaying monitor information at every unit. CONSTITUTION:In a power plant with a plurality of generating units 1, 2, a data transmission line 3 for transmitting data is mounted among each generating unit 1, 2 and a generalizing monitor unit 4. A generalizing monitor 41 having a means, to which monitor information transmited from each generating unit 1, 2 is input and which store it, is set up to the generalizing monitor unit 4. Monitor information memorized to a memory means for the generalizing monitor 41 can be displayed onto a display means 43 such as a CRT at every generating unit. Accordingly, a burden on work of an operator required for transmitting monitor information can be lightened.
