PURPOSE:To efficiently subject a small Al section of a small area to film forming treatment by using a film forming treatment apparatus for Al section composed of a rotating and transferring device provided with a suspending hook and plural vertical film forming treatment tanks arranged around the device in a double circle. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus 1 for forming an alumite film on a long-sized small Al section for an Al sash is composed of a rotating and transferring device 2 having a suspending arm provided with an Al section suspending hook at the tip and plural vertical film forming treatment tanks (a)-(x) arranged around the device 2 is a double circle. The Al section is transferred to a stop position (y) with a transferring mechanism 29, the arm of the device 2 is extended to grasp the section with the hook and the section is lowered into the first tank (a) and subjected to film forming treatment. After the section is successively subjected to film forming treatment in the tanks (a)-(l), the arm is extended and the section is successively transferred to the outer tanks (m)-(x), where it is further successively subjected to film forming treatment. Since the treatment tanks are deep and vertical and are circularly arranged, the Al section can be efficiently subjected to film forming treatment many times in a small site.
