PURPOSE:To make a linear motor travel stably by laying branch reaction plates along branch rails and removing the sudden change of load at the time when a linear-motor electric car passes along the branch section rails. CONSTITUTION:In a rail travelling path on which a linear-motor electric car travels, a reaction plate 2 is laid between rails 1 for the rail travelling path, and branch reaction plates 12 formed after the shape of a branch laying section 4 are laid along branch rails 3 in the branch laying section 4 shaped to the branch rails 3 for the rails 1. Overcurrents flowing through the reaction plate as the primary side conductor of a linear motor are inhibited by the branch reaction plates 12.
