PURPOSE:To obtain a transfer-recorded image quality wigh high resolution and high density to be obtained even on an image-receiving sheet having a low surface smoothness, by sequentially providing an intermediate layer comprising a photolyzable compound and a photo-thermal converting substance and a thermally transferable solid ink layer on a light-transmitting base, with a releasable layer provided between the base and the intermediate layer. CONSTITUTION:A light-reflective layer 2 capable of being removed by electrosensitive recording is provided on one side of a light-transmitting base 1, whereas a releasable layer 9, a single intermediate layer 12 comprising a photolyzable compound and a photo-thermal converting substance and a thermally transferable solid ink layer 4 are sequentially provided on the other side of the base 1. Alternatively, the single intermediate layer 12 is replaced by a first intermediate layer 10 comprising the photolyzable compound and a second intermediate layer 11 comprising the photo-thermal converting substance. In yet further embodiment, the releasable layer 9, the intermediate layer 12 consisting of a single layer and the thermally transferable solid ink layer 4 are sequentially provided on one side of the light-transmitting base 1, which intermediate layer may be replaced by the first intermediate layer 10 and the second intermediate layer 11. |
