PURPOSE:To improve the durability of the starting device by a method wherein an impact force or the like, generated when an one-direction clutch device is returned instantaneously upon overrunning or after a starting motor is put OFF, is mitigated. CONSTITUTION:A pinion gear 6, protrudingly provided with an annular teeth at the outer periphery thereof, is fitted to the outside of a clutch inner 3b slidably into the axial direction thereof at the opposite side of the side, in which the inner 3b is contacting with the one-direction clutch 5, through secondary helical spline 4b, having the same screw direction of the first helical spline 4a indented on the engaging surface. When the starting motor is put OFF and the rotation of a rotary shaft 2 is stopped, the stopper function of a centrifugal governor device 11 is released, sliding parts, from a clutch outer 3a to the pinion gear 6, are returned instantaneously and integrally to the initial position before the starting motor is put ON, and the teeth of the pinion gear 6 are separated from a ring gear 14, however, the impact force, generated upon being kicked back by the spline 4b, may be mitigated. |
