PURPOSE:To facilitate mounting work at the time of loading a magnetic head unit on a cylinder actually, by loading the magnetic head unit after forming a grinding disk in double stage structure on the grinding disk by applying position regulation. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic head unit is loaded on a first grinding disk 2 by applying the position regulation, and next, the first grinding disk 2 is loaded by applying the position regulation on a second grinding disk 3 as bringing the bottom plane of the first grinding disk 2 and at least another one plane into contact with the second grinding disk 3 and sliding the first grinding disk 2 on the second grinding disk 3. In other words, it is possible to finish so as to always set the apex position of the curvature of a head sliding plane in a sliding direction at a constant position for the lower end plane of the head unit 1 to perform the perfect position regulation of the head unit 1 and to grind the head unit. In such a way, the mounting work at the time of loading the head unit 1 on the cylinder can be facilitated.
