PURPOSE:To prevent defect in a casting by arranging a special inserting waste pin for gas and air vents in a die. CONSTITUTION:At the position, where misrun or poor gas and air vents are easily occurred near product cavity 5, etc., in the die, beforehand, hole for inserting the specific inserting waste pin 7 adjusting to the casting plan is arranged. By arranging the waste pin 7, escape of generated gas is extremely facilitated and the development of misrun, cold shut and shrinkage blow hole are prevented. By this method, the development of defect in the casting caused by poor gas vent is surely prevented. |
