PURPOSE:To compensate the lack of a shield in the gap part between a penetration sleeve and a biological shield wall through-sleeve and to prevent the radiation leakage from this part by providing a shield reinforcing plate to the barrel part of a reactor container. CONSTITUTION:The penetration sleeve 1 housing pipings, electric wires, etc., is installed through the shield reinforcing plate 8 and biological shield wall through-sleeve 2 installed to the barrel part of the reactor container 5. This shield reinforcing plate 8 requires 18cm thickness which is the total of the thicknesses of a shield collar and the shield reinforcing plate. The penetration sleeve 1 is installed in the space in the sleeve 2 running through the biological shield wall 7 enclosing the outside of the reactor container 5 and is provided with the gap part 3 and, therefore, this constitution forbids the contact of the penetration part with the shield wall 7 in the event of the displacement by a thermal expansion, etc., or the displacement by earthquakes, etc.
