<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled substance useful as a synthetic intermediate for various preformed chemical mediators, by reacting a monothioacetal with an allyltrialkyltin in the presence of TiCl4. CONSTITUTION:A compound shown by formula I (R<1> is alkyl, alkenyl or aryl which may be replaced with siloxy; R<2> is lower alkyl; A is aryl) is reacted with a compound shown by formula II (R<3> is lower alkyl; R<4>-R<6> are H or lower alkyl) in the molar ratio of 1:1-3 in the presence of 1-2mol. based on 1mol. compound shown by formula I of TiCl4 in a solvent such as dichloro- methane at -80--30 deg.C to give a compound shown by formula III. The amount of homoallyl ether produced as by-product is small.</p> |
