<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the high degree of denitration in low temp. by bringing an exhaust gas contg. NOx into contact with a treating agent obtained by heat- treating the sludge at 200-500 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:After dehydrating the sludge producing in an activated sludge treating process of the sewage, it is made to the atmosphere practically free from oxygen by introducing an inert gas and heat-treated at 200-500 deg.C and made to the particles. The treating agent obtained by such a way is introduced into a packed layer 22 and an exhaust gas contg. NOx is passed therein to reduce NOx up to N2. The treating temp. is regulated to 250-500 deg.C so that the removing performance of NOx is not lost in the treating agent by means of the combustion and thereby the high degree of dehydration is obtained at a low temp.</p> |
