PURPOSE:To reduce production cost by using a piezoelectric buzzer element as a piezoelectric element, and holding this element to a casing via an elastic soft member. CONSTITUTION:On the top surface of the piezoelectric element 1 using a piezoelectric buzzer element, a resonance cone 3 for ultrasonic waves is fixed. On the inside peripheral edge of the emission opening 8 of the casing 2, the elastic soft member 5 is adhered. On the lower surface of a double surface adhesion tape 6 on the inside surface of the member 5, the peripheral edge of the piezoelectric element 1 is adhered. One end of a lead wire 4 is connected to the element 1, and the other end is connected to a printed-wiring board 9. Since a piezoelectric buzzer element is thus used for the piezoelectric element 1, the many nodes of oscillation are formed along the direction of the surface of the element 1. Therefore, there is no need for particularly searching for the points where the element 1 is supported on the casing 2, and the production can be extremely made easy.
