PURPOSE:To execute switching of the system without deciding whether the possibility of a disturbance caused by a faulty state, etc., exists or not, etc., by bringing a power source of an existing system to a disconnection control, from a stand-by system at the time when a fault of the existing system is generated. CONSTITUTION:When an OS1 of an existing system 1 which is executing an on-line transaction processing becomes a stall state, or a heartbeat communication by an on-line transaction program (OLTP1) comes not to be sent due to a fault of the existing system 1, etc., it can be detected by a stand-by system 2 that an abnormality is generated in the existing system 1, due to time-out of a heartbeat reception of the stand-by system 2. In response thereto, a monitor program 2 instructs to disconnect the power source of the existing system, to a power source controller (PSQ) 6.
