PURPOSE:To obtain a heavy duty edition supporting device by transmitting each operation to a user through a medium other than a picture, and permitting or inhibiting the succeeding operation in accordance with a result indicating whether the user executes each operation correctly or not. CONSTITUTION:A command execution part 105 inputs a command sequence from a command forming part 104 and holds it. When a user's key entry is inputted from a user input buffer 102 and the user's key entry is correct, the execution part 105 inputs the user's key entry to a data edition part 106. When the user's key entry is incorrect, the execution part 105 inputs information indicating the error to a system message output part 108. At the time of inputting the information, the output part 108 inputs a message demanding the reinput of a command to a voice synthesizing part 109. The data edition part 106 executes the command inputted from the execution part 105, updates the contents of a display and outputs the updated current state to the forming part 104.
