PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a hardware by executing the setting to a picture drawing part and the processing to a printing part, by a hardware and a software, respectively, at the time of image processing. CONSTITUTION:A bit map control part 30 divides a bit map CPU into three, and a first information processing part 320, and a bucket switch 330 and a second information processing part 340 are connected to an FIFO 305 by internal buses B302, B303, respectively. In the first information processing part 320, a protocol analysis, a picture drawing address based on the analysis concerned, etc. are contained. The FIFO is constituted as a hardware 305, and in the bucket switch part 330, an intermediate code which is written in the FIFO 305 is read out successively, and outputted through a bus B305 to an intermediate code processing part of a font image write part 311 or a graphic image write part 316 of a bit map write part 31 designated by a data. in the second information processing part 340, in accordance with the intermediate code, a control command of a print engine part is outputted to a print engine through a bus B3.
