PURPOSE:To enable a vehicle to be placed in a four-wheel drive condition, by connecting either a drive side member in a fluid coupling or its driven side member to a drive shaft or a driven shaft so is to directly connect both the drive shaft and the driven shaft. CONSTITUTION:A fluid coupling 17 has a drive side member 27 connected to the side of an output shaft 20 and a driven side member 28 which is able to relatively turn to this drive side member 27 further connected to the side of a universal joint shaft 18 serving as the driven shaft. And the fluid coupling 17 fits this drive side member 27 to the first outer spline 24, formed in the drive side member 27, to be connected to the side of the output shaft 20 while connectes this driven side member 28 to the side of the universal joint shaft 18 fitting the second inner spline 30, formed in the driven side member 28, to the second outer spline 26. When the output shaft 20 turns, the drive side member 27 and a drive disc 31 rotate, and the fluid coupling, rotating a driven disc 32 by the viscosity of silicone oil, transmits power to a rear wheel side through the driven side member 28 and the universal joint shaft 18.
