PURPOSE:To use a message storage device efficiently and to simplify the retrieval by storing management information and retrieval information with respect to messages stored in the order of reception distinctively from the received message. CONSTITUTION:A message sent to a maintenance operation center 1 via a communication line 3 from electronic exchanges 2a-2n of plural stations is received by a message storage processing unit 13 and stored in the message storage device 14 in the order of reception and the message key addition storage processing unit 15 generates the location of storage in the device 14, storage time, kind and retrieval information and stores it to a location corresponding to the message key storage device 16. In applying designation input of the message from the maintenance terminal equipment to the message retrieval processing unit 18, the message key discrimination processing unit 17 retrieves the device 16 to transfer the key to the device 18 and to retrieve the device 14. |
