PURPOSE:To enable to shorten the access time at read in freely, by recording a series of information equally through the provision of required position shift to each track of dual lines on the media disc. CONSTITUTION:To the video information 14,15 arranged on the tracks 4,5 of two rows of the media disc 13, a series of information ABC...LMN... which are entirely equal one another is recorded, and the location of recording of information at the tracks 4 and 5 is shifted by piRad. Althogh one information is recorded on two parts for the disc 13, in retrieval of the address mark, if the control system is set so that closer video information 14 or 15 can be selected, the maximum rotational angle is pi/2 Rad at accessing. The reduction characteristics of the access rotational angle, can be maximized freely by increasing the number of rows of tracks, and by recording a series of information equall each other on the tracks of n rows and shifting the recording location of each row by 2pi/ Rad., the maximum access rotational angle can be reduced to pi/n Rad. |
