Sealing system for the sealing of tunnel elements

The invention relates to a sealing system, consisting of a primary compression seal and a secondary seal, for the sealing of tunnel elements, e.g. two float-in tunnel elements. The essential feature of this sealing system consists in the fact that the secondary seal consists of a hollow-profile sealing frame which can be activated and is fastened to one of the elements to be coupled, in which arrangement the gap between the structral parts can be bridged and sealed off after the compression of the primary seal by injecting air or a permanently elastic medium into the hollow space of the secondary seal.
