PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the directional change of an ink sheet cassette and to prevent the unsatisfactory running of an ink sheet, by a method wherein, at the completion of printing, the count value of a counter circuit is read, a pulse motor drive circuit is connected to a pules motor by actuating a change-over switch, and a pulse corresponding to the count value of the counter circuit is outputted to the pulse motor drive circuit. CONSTITUTION:A control part 300 actuates a take-up motor drive circuit 330a, thus actuating a take-up motor 210a to rotate an ink sheet roll 50, a supply side ink sheet roll 60, and a pulse motor 400, successively. The pulse motor 400 outputs a pulse at every unit-angle rotation, and a counter circuit 320 counts the pulses. After the completion of printing, the control part 300 reads the count value of the counter circuit 320 and actuates a change-over switch 340 to connect the pulse motor 400 with a pulse motor drive circuit 330. In this manner, a pulse corresponding to the count value of the counter circuit 320 is outputted to the pulse motor drive circuit 330 to reversely rotate the pulse motor 400. |
