PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity for changing the charge amount of a refrigerant in room cooling and room heating, by switching a refrigerant circulating path so as to feed the refrigerant to an out-car room heat exchanger first in the time of room cooling and to an in-car room heat exchanger in the time of room heating, in case of the captioned device utilizing engine cooling water. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerant compressor 1 delivers a refrigerant, and its circulating path is switched by a four way type valve 20 as shown by an arrow head of full line in the drawing, when room cooling is in operation, and as shown by an arrow head of broken line when room heating is in operation. That is, when the room cooling is operated, a liquid refrigerant is cooled in an out-car room heat exchanger 2, liquefied, separated into gas and liquid in a receiver 12 and allowed to flow into a heating heat exchanger 13. Here in the time of room cooling, the heating heat exchanger 13 is placed in a stop condition acting as an extension function of the receiver 12. Next the refrigerant returns to the compressor 1 via an in-car room heat exchanger 6. In this constitution, the necessity for changing a charge amount of the refrigerant for room cooling and room heating is eliminated by enabling the compressor to be charged with the refrigerant of the charge amount in the time of room cooling by the surplus amount of the heating heat exchanger. |
