PURPOSE:To compactly lay out a resonant type suction system and the supercharging system of an opposite type agitator by placing the opposite type agitator in a position adjacent to suction pipes for resonance in a V-bank space. CONSTITUTION:The intake passage 4 of each cylinder is connected to collector pipes (intake pipes for resonance) 5a, 5b which are provided for each bank. An opposite type agitator 12 is placed in the center in the longitudinal direction of a V-bank space, in a position at the equal distance from right and left banks 2, 3, and along the longitudinal direction of the V-bank. And, the discharge ports 14a, 14b of the operation chambers (intake chambers) 13a, 13b of the opposite type agitator 12 are directly connected to the collector pipes 5a, 5b. And, exhaust pulsation is transmitted to the opposite type agitator 12 from the exhaust side collecting pipes 11a, 11b of the banks 2, 3 via exhaust connecting pipes 15a, 15b.
