PURPOSE:To make it possible to add a metallic material to a superconductive material in a high adhesive strength by attaching a metallic powder over the surface of a composition to be sintered and then sintering it, when a superconductive sintered body is produced. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of powders of nitride, oxide, hydroxide, sulfate, oxalate, or nitrate of an element alpha included in group IIa of the periodic table, an element beta included in group IIIa of the periodic table, an element gamma selected from groups Ib, IIb, IIIb, IVa, and VIIIa of the periodic table, or a powder of baked bodies made by baking the above mixture is used as the material powder. Such a material powder is made into a specific form, a metallic powder is attached over the surface of the composition, and then it is sintered. In this case, as the metallic powder, Ag, Pt, Rh, Pd, Cd, Sn, Pb, Au, Zn, Ni, Co, or Cu, or one of their alloys is used. The sintering process is carried out in the ambiance including mainly N2 and very small amount of O2. |
