PURPOSE:To reduce a projected area in plan and suppress the vibration of an engine by directly connectingly fixing a generator to the upside of an engine. CONSTITUTION:In an engine generator 1, an engine 3 is installed in a machine frame 2 which is formed into a square frame type and a generator 4 is directly connectingly fixed to the upper part of the engine 3. Thereby, a projected area in plan can be reduced enabling a required space at the time of using or at the time of housing to be reduced. Also, since the vibration of the engine 3 is suppressed by its installed face and by the generator 4 having a large weight, the vibration of the engine generator 1 can be greatly reduced. Accordingly, the generation of noise or instability in installation due to vibration can be completely prevented. |
