PURPOSE:To prevent the infection from the substance sampled by a syringe, by mounting a region for separating an injection needle and a syringe barrel to an apparatus for receiving the injection needle and safely separating the syringe barrel and the injection needle to receive the latter. CONSTITUTION:A syringe after use is inserted in the injection needle insert port 4 of this apparatus and the connection region 5 of an injection needle and a syringe barrel is brought into contact with an injection needle separating region 1 and the syringe barrel part is lightly pulled on the side opposite 10 this apparatus. Whereupon, the injection needle is detached to fall in this apparatus and can be received therein. After use, a cap 3 is applied to this apparatus. By this method, it can be prevented that the blood of a patient is adhered to the hand or finger of a handling person and a pathogen penetrates in the body from a wound to bring about infection.
