PURPOSE:To facilitate the maintenance work in adjusting height by avoiding the need of a coil spring by using the combination of a compression rubber with a piled layer rubber as the elastic supporting member, in the constitution in which an axis box is supported onto a truck frame through the elastic supporting member. CONSTITUTION:As for a railroad car, an axis box 4 for rotatably supporting a wheel axis 5 is elastically supported through an elastic supporting member S. In this case, the elastic supporting member S is constituted of a conical piled layer rubber 2, compression rubber 3, and a shim 7. Each of the upper and lower, right and left, and front and rear load of a truck frame 1 is transmitted to the axis box 4 through the conical piled layer rubber 2 and the compression rubber 3, and transmitted finally to the wheel axis 5. In this case, the conical piled layer rubber 2 and the compression rubber 3 are constituted as a combined shaft spring, and the partial charge of load is selected in optimum. |
