PURPOSE:To avoid the increase of water amount in the downstream of snow ditch by providing an intake tank into which water from the snow ditch comes, a trough having a given slope, a pipeline to connect the trough with the intake tank, and a pump. CONSTITUTION:Water coming from a snow ditch 1 into an intake tank 2 is supplied through a pipeline 6 to the upstream end of a trough 5 by a pump 4. The water is then returned to the ditch 1 through the trough 5 where snow blocks 7 charged flow with the water. The water which becomes a transport medium is directed from the ditch 1 to the ditch 1 again. The variation in the whole amount of water flowing in the ditch can thus be reduced as much as possible.
