PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which can be vulcanized with microwaves without foaming, by mixing an epichlorohydrin with CaO, a specified metallic compound, a dry process or calcined wet process white carbon and a vulcanizing agent. CONSTITUTION:A mixture (B) is obtained by mixing 1-6pts.wt. CaO with 1-4pts.wt. metallic compound selected from among MgO, Mg(OH)2 and Ca(OH)2. 100pts.wt. epichlorohydrin rubber which is a copolymer rubber or a rubber mixture comprising 50-70mol.% epichlorohydrin (i), 30-50mol.% ethylene oxide (ii) and 0-10mol.% allyl glycidyl ether (iii) is mixed with 2-8pts.wt. component B, 5-25pts.wt. dry process or calcined wet process white carbon (C) having an equilibrium adsorbed moisture content (at 30 deg.C and 50% RH) <=5% and a particle diameter of 1mmu-50mu and 0.1-10pts.wt. vulcanizing agent (D) of a type which effects vulcanization through the chlorine atoms. of component A. This composition is vulcanized with microwaves of 300-3,000MHz.
