SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL WHICH ALLOWS FORMATION OF CONTINUOUS TONE AND LINE PHOTOGRAPHING AND OBVIATES FIXING VOID

摘要

PURPOSE:To enable formation of continuous tones and line photographing with the same film by constituting the emulsion particles to be incorporated into a silver halide emulsion layer of two kinds of emulsions having different average grain sizes, specifying the ratio of silver in the emulsion layer and incorporating a prescribed ratio of a matting agent into the emulsion layer or protective layer covering said layer. CONSTITUTION:The emulsions to be incorporated into the emulsion layer of a silver halide photographic sensitive material provided with one layer of the silver halide emulsion layer and the protective layer covering this layer on a base are constituted of two kinds of the emulsions having the different average grain sizes. Namely, the average grain size in the emulsion contg. the particles having the smaller average grain size is confine to 40-70% of the average grain size in the emulsions contg. the particles of the larger average grain size and the ratio of the silver in the emulsion layer is confined respectively to <=4.5g/m<2>. The matting agent such as polymethyl methacrylate or polyallyl nitrile having 0.3-5mum grain size is incorporated at >=300mg/m<2> in at least one layer of the emulsion layer or the protective layer.
