PURPOSE:To permit refrigerating operation at any places by circulating cooling brine in a cooling vessel mounted on the inner surface of the wall in a container, composing a generating circuit of am engine, a generator, and a transformer separately mounted and connecting either of the generating circuit or an external power source circuit to a motor. CONSTITUTION:A compressive refrigerating unit 6 mounted on the back of a container 1 delivers the refrigerant to a condenser 8 by a compressor 7. In the condenser 8, a high temperature refrigerant gas sent from the compressor 7 is cooled by a cooling fan 9 for liquefaction. The refrigerant is gasified in the passageway of an evaporator 11 to thereby take heat away from the environment and again returns to the compressor 7. Brine 5 in the cooling vessel 4 is sent to the evaporator 11 by a pump 14 through a circulating pipe 12 above the cooling vessel 4. A changeover switch 17 is provided for a motor 15 in connection to the external power source circuit 18 and the generating circuit 19. At a place where the commercially available power source cannot be used, the changeover switch 17 is connected to the side of the generating circuit 19 and the compressor 7 is operated by using the electricity generated by a generator 23 to cool the container 1.
