PURPOSE:To curtail the number of parts by fitting the pin performing the paralleling of the rotary face of a magnetic disk and the gap face of a magnetic head centering around the shaft core of a guide shaft on a carriage, an engaging its tip with the lead screw of a step motor. CONSTITUTION:A carriage 4 has the engaging guide hole 16 of a guide shaft 5, the gimbal fixing face 4a for fixing the gimbal 18 fixed a magnetic head 17 with its adhesion and the rise part 4b fitting the other end of the L type pin 19 whose one end is fitted to the lead screw 6a of a step motor 6. A thin plate spring 20 is then fitted to the side face of the carriage 4 and the stable engagement state of the L shaped pin 19 for the lead screw 6a is obtd. by interposing the lead screw 6a of the step motor 6 by the thin plate spring 20 and L shaped pin 19.
