PURPOSE:To obtain a device with high reliability by providing an ejecting lever to travel backward at the time of discharging a memory cartridge, a electromagnetic solenoid and a stopper member engaged and driven with the solenoid. CONSTITUTION:When a sensor (not shown in the figure) detects that an IC card card 8 is suitably mounted in a device, an operating pilot lamp is changed to a green color and an electromagnetic solenoid 18 is energized by a signal outputted from a control part (not shown in the figure) based on the signal from the sensor. By the energizing, a turning claw 19 is turned in the clock-wise direction against the elastic force of a coil spring 26 and a stopper edge 21 is inserted onto a moving path P of an ejecting lever 10. Therefore even if the ejecting button is defressed unexpectedly, the tip of the lever 10 is crashed into the stopper edge 21, the lever 10 is not retreated beyond, it, and consequently, the action of an ejecting mechanism 14 is locked ejection of the IC card 8 is thus presented.
