PURPOSE:To effectively reduce a camber after cooling by giving a reversed camber in a specified condition before cooling after hot rolling a U-shaped steel sheet pile. CONSTITUTION:The U-shaped steel sheet pile 1 having its web temp. by 500-700 deg.C after hot rolling is conveyed by a conveying table 1 and stopped by a reversed camber working apparatus 6. In this timer, a set value of the reversed camber to be added according to the temp. difference between the web and flange is given to a hydraulic control device. Based on this set value, the stroke of each supporting hydraulic cylinder 9 and each restricting hydraulic cylinder 12 are operated to control the line connecting the upper surface of each supporting bed 10 and the line connecting the lower surface of each restricting jig 13 to be a certain curvature. In this state, the U-shaped steel sheet pile 1 is lifted upward a pass line PL to restrict from upper surface and to give the reversed camber. Then, the U-shaped steel sheet pile 1 is turnbacked in the state of reversed U-shape to convey to the cooling bed. In this way, the product having no camber after cooled is obtained. |
