PURPOSE:To simplify handling and improve the degree of accuracy in discharging operation of the feeder in the caption for use in precision weighing etc., of bulk material by supporting an operating body connected with a spoon to the feeder body by means of elastic bodies so that an electromagnetic coil mounted to the feeder body is interruptedly energized and excites the operating body. CONSTITUTION:A spoon 17 is fitted to shaft 11 of the feeder body. And the spoon 17 is filled with bulk material, and the feeder is switched on. When power is interruptedly supplied to a coil 8 from a power source 13, a plate 11a of an operating body 11 is interruptedly attracted to a coil-supporting plate 9-side by generated electromagnetic force, and is returned to the original position by the elasticity of springs 3a, 3b when power to the coil is disconnected. Thus, the operating body 11 vibrates in the direction of shaft center, and the spoon 17 also vibrates simultaneously. The bulk material is therefore discharged from the spoon 17. The degree of accuracy in discharging operation can be improved without special operator skills by this constitution.
