PURPOSE:To increase a recording capacity and to simplify a control circuit for the reading of the data by recording significant data with a converting code group, and recording the synchronizing signal part with a code in which 1 is continuous and the last is completed by 0. CONSTITUTION:An effective data part 10 is converted and recorded to a code including clock information in which two or more of zeros are not continuous. Consequently, the number of bits distributed for a clock only is decreased and a recording density can be increased. Since synchronizing signal parts 6 and 9 are codes in which 1 is continuous and the last is completed by 0, it can be discriminated that the synchronizing signal parts 6 and 9 are obtained by the continuity of 1, thereafter, it is detected next that 0 is expressed and the timing of the starting of the data can be easily detected. Thus, the starting of the data may detect the signal of one bit, and for that reason, a control circuit is simplified. The data density is increased while a margin is secured and the boundary between a data area and a gap can be clearly classified.
