PURPOSE:To obtain a strong foot path which can withstand long-term use by a method in which footpath blocks are set on a base and a fixing tube is driven through the blocks and the base into the ground. CONSTITUTION:A base 1 is buried in the ground, and the ends of both footpath blocks 4 to be connected are placed on the base 1. A packing 9 is attached to the connecting faces of both ends of the blocks 4, and a fixing tube 8 is thrust into the hole 7 formed by grooves 6 and driven into the ground. A strong foot path which can withstand long-term use can thus be obtained, and the needs for labor and cost related to repairing and mowing, etc., can also be eliminated.
