PURPOSE:To securely recognize moving persons by permitting card which detect infrared ray emitting light beam in a conical form with the angle range of 30 deg. from above to radiate the infrared ray which modulated by means of an individual code, and detecting and identifying the radiation signal. CONSTITUTION:Detectors 2 radiate the infrared rays within the conical range of about 30 deg. from above. When the individual cards 1 which respective persons possess detect the infrared rays, terminal equipments 5 operate to modulate the infrared rays by characteristic signals which are allotted to respective persons and answer to the detectors 2. The signals which the detectors 2 receive are amplified in a relay unit 3 and are collated with identification codes stored in an identification device 4. When the agreement code exists, as the result of collation, he is judged to be a right person and transit is allowed. If the code does not agree, transit is rejected. Thus, plural persons who move at the same time are identified and centralized control in a center is easily executed.
