Damping element for liq. flow systems - is used in IC engine fuel supplies, and consists of housing with inlet and ducts and ridges on disc
摘要
The stabiliser for the flow of liq. is incorporated in a housing (11) which has an inlet and outlet, and has a duct (32) leading from the inlet to the inside of the housing (11). There is at least one extra duct (33) parallel to the first duct (32) and at least almost radial to it. Each duct (32-35) is formed of two guide- ridges (24-31) on a disc-shaped base-plate (22) running from an inner part (38) to an outer large area (44). The ducts (32-35) are covered by a covering disc (39) over their inner area (38). USE - The pulsations of the liq. flowing through the fuel supply system of IC engines are dampened by distributing and diverting the liq. within a compact space.
