Toggle loop with tension cord of biocompatible plastic for the surgical management of a ruptured acromioclavicular joint in the form of a toggle (1) which is connected to tape-like ends (2, 3) which are closed to form a loop via special locking mechanisms. The tape-like ends are laid in a depression (7) in the toggle for implantation thereof and, after tilting of the toggle, they extend at an angle of 90 degrees relative thereto. The toggle loop is implanted in conjunction with a tension cord which is reinforced with wire on both sides. <IMAGE>
